God's Unique Children
We believe that God has created each child as a unique and wondrous individual. We consider the needs of the whole family and provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual growth of each child.
We believe young children learn best through various forms of play. Our developmentally appropriate program provides children the opportunities to use and to build upon their knowledge.
Our goal is to nurture the child’s self-esteem, help the child to develop respect for others and encourage his/her expression of creativity. We strive to share the Good News of the forgiveness and salvation through Christ with all people and show guidance in all areas of living in accordance with God’s Word. Children are encouraged to reflect Christ’s love and to share their gifts with others; bearing fruit for eternity.
2022-2023 Missions Calendar
Each month our Church and Schools provide our families and students with the opportunity to show Jesus’ love through us by serving our community, country, and the world.
August 2022 – HOVING HOME: LOCAL
We will collect: coffee, paper products, laundry detergent 33 gallon trash bags, powdered creamer, zip lock bags and disinfectant
September 2022 – OPERATION HOMEFRONT: LOCAL/NATIONAL
We will collect socks for homeless veterans
October 2022 – LUTHERAN HISPANIC OUTREACH: LOCAL & CIRCUIT MISSION
The collection is TBD. Pastor Bo will let the ministry know what items would be needed.
November/December 2022 – ALTERNATIVE GIFTS: LOCAL/ NATIONAL/ INTERNATIONAL
Exchanging and sponsoring gifts that will honor Jesus locally, nationally and internationally
January 2023 – HEARTS FOR JESUS: DISTRICT MISSION
FLA & FLP will support Yassah and follow with the Hearts for Jesus PSWD Mission
February 2023 – WOMEN’S RESOURCE MEDICAL CENTER & FIRST CHOICE PREGNANCY SERVICES: SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE
FLP will have a baby shower, FLA & FCLC will have a baby bottle drive.
March 2023 – SAMARITAN’S PURSE: NATIONAL/INTERNATIONAL
We will collect offerings to help this ministry as it responds to natural disasters, wars, famine, etc.
April 2023 – SALOME & COMFORT DOG MINISTRY: LOCAL
We will collect donations for needs for Salome and team.
May 2023 – OLIVE CREST: LOCAL
